If you are craving the freshest local seasonal produce or organic foods and products, visit downtown Burbank’s Farmers’ Market. You can also find bread, honey, herbs, nuts and many more delicious treats. With farmers representing growers throughout Southern California, whether you are looking for fresh fruit, vegetables or flowers, you’ll find a huge assortment at the market every Saturday morning.
The Burbank Farmers’ Market is located at Third Street and Orange Grove in the parking lot right behind Burbank’s City Hall Annex every Saturday from 8am – 12:30pm. With free street parking, you’ll want to get there early to beat the crowds for the best selection of fresh produce and other great foods.
In addition to the great market, on the first Saturday of every month the UC Cooperative Extension’s Sharon Springer is available to give out free information about backyard gardening, backyard orchards, vegetable gardening, and drought tolerant landscaping. Bring your questions and leave with leave with answers – and if you’re lucky, some free worms!
The market is open from January 2 until December 26 year-round.
